Create & Cultivate Chicago

Last weekend feels like ages ago, but it has taken me precisely that long to process all the amazingness of Create & Cultivate. If you aren’t familiar with Create & Cultivate, it’s described as a “creative conference and online platform for female entrepreneurs in the digital space” – a.k.a. an amazing event for actual or aspiring girl bosses.

For attendees, that meant a day jam-packed with amazing panels feauturing women who are killing it. Below is one such panel, with some incredible women talking about how to use the digital space for social good.

Left to right: Tracy Le (Darling Magazine), Jordan Younger (The Balanced Blonde), Emily Greener (I Am That Girl), Jay Goldmark (EmiJay), Katie Sturino (The 12ish Style, Toast Meets World, Muppet’s Revenge), and Kathleen Wright (Piece & Co.)

Between panels, attendees dove into manicures and makeup touchups, toured pop-up shops, and had plenty of time to make new friends and get outfit envy.

It is also worth noting that the event planning pros from Create & Cultivate know their audience – this was by far the most Instagrammable conference I’ve ever attended! Every detail was gorgeous, and the sponsors made sure we were fueled with tons of healthy and not-so-healthy options all day.

For me, the best part of the conference was soaking up all the experience and advice given by panelists and our mentors. Here are some of my favorite tidbits for you:
